Here in my town in southeast Cleveland lived the Casual Fools, and they were a rough bunch! I got a job when I was 15 working at the local late night Sunoco, and they'd come rolling in and I'd get real nervous! They had some wicked machines too!

Bob.

I will definitely be at Mid Ohio shopping on Friday. admission has been $10 on friday but ups to $20 on Sat.

The motels within 40 miles do get booked solid on Fri and Sat.

Whats the best day, all three. Friday you get first crack at the deals. Saturday, more vendors show up. ready to sell. and some guys get worried if stuff wasn't moving on Friday and start negoitiating a little lower. Sunday, guys low on sales want to dump so they don't need to haul it all home.

Never stayed in the campground. never heard much about theft there but I assume at any gathering that large, some thieves are lurking.

Whatever you do, keep walking thru. bring a shopping list with part number info. A backpack to carry trinkets, maybe have a wagon, wheelbarrow, or dolly to get an engine back to your truck.

It might not hurt to bring photos of what you want to buy so you can match up all the unknown stuff, like seats that look o so similar. A tape measure, maybe some caliphers, a mini mag light.

And bring a pen and notebook. write down the exact location on something you are debating buying or you might not find it again.
You will meet a lot of people, for future dealings. Lots of ebayers show up, once you meet them in person, you would feel more comfortable bidding on their items or may find out you do not want to deal with them in the future.

Possum,

I think the AMA vintage days up in Ohio are about all we're likely to get. It's a long way, but it's really worth it. I went for the first time last year and I'm really looking forward to this year.

I like the fall, good colors, good weather, good riding, good fellowship, and things have slowed from the summer rushes,

Id like the one year eastward and next westward, I have to travel either way, not many of us here in the Okla area,

Live to ride
